Monday #1 - Heather Henry

As I said not long ago, I was going to start to introduce to you to some fantastic artists, that apart from being great at what they do, they are really good people and also followers of my blog.

This will be a new series that I will start to post every Monday (or so I hope).
I can't believe that I am about to reach 100 hundred followers, so, yes I will have someone to post about every Monday for a long time.

I will do it randomly, as all of you are important to me, not just numbers.
It really sounds like a cliché, but it's not.
I hope you also get to meet each other, and maybe it helps some of you to make new friends and also promote some of your business.

LITTLE RED HENRY

My Photo
I began drawing at an early age and have always enjoyed expressing myself through pictures. I am very inspired by the world around me, trees, music, nature in general, people, they all hold a beautiful quality, that is truly inspiring. I teach art, paint murals and squeeze in as much time possible for drawing. I'm also exploring different mediums, trying new things, and painting my path as I go.
This is Heather's profile, which I have borrowed from her blog. She lives in Kansas and she has a daughter called Zara.
She is a really lovely lady. We met through the A to Z challenge, and since then we've been leaving comments on each other's blogs quite frequently, and that is great, because in a way we have become friends.
When I opened my Etsy shop she left a note on the top her blog promoting my shop. Isn't she great?
You have to go and check her blog. Her drawings are very special. I really like this drawing, it's so romantic, but not on the loving sort of way, but it is evoking dreams, and how sometimes they fly away.
I told her that if she ever make prints of this picture I would love to own one. Wouldn't you?
Thank you Heather for being there, for reading my blog and for helping me out on this difficult task that is  getting out my name to set up my own jewelry business.
I will leave you here some more drawings.

My Photo
A ti no?

Wedding collections

You may have been wondering why lately I am just posting about other's people giveaways and things of the sort.
Well, the reason is that I am working on another wedding's jewelry collection.
Most of the pieces are finished and ready to photograph, but as I cannot take pictures on my own, I have to wait for D to have a spare couple of hours to help me out, but with two little ones playing around it is almost impossible.
I know many people like to wear pearls, precious stones and crystals on their jewelry, but I am trying to use lampwork beads instead in most of my pieces.
Since the jewelry I am making is totally handmade, I think that the main pieces should also be handmade.
What do you think? I know, first you have to see my new pieces to give an opinion, but I will just remind you my latest wedding set made mainly with lampwork beads by Laura sparling.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
